Version 1.0 |

 |
| |
| With
the ever increasing crime and terrorism epidemic in the
country the new security culture is developing, which
has enforced strict security measures and helped to reduce
the crime rate especially in Banks, Financial Institutions,
Commercial Houses and Private Properties. |
| |
| People
now have installed Electronic Security Systems, CCTV Systems
and other security equipment to protect their lives and
properties. With the effort of security experts and public,
Government of Punjab has now passed a new security act
"The Punjab Shops and Establishments (Security) Act
1999" and it is effective in Punjab since 28th January
1999. |
| |
| Therefore,
we once more take the opportunity to introduce the state-of-the-art
new concept in Pakistan, Central Monitoring Station "MondialWatch".
A computer aided surveillance and security management
station, where one can monitor 50 to 1000 remote locations
while sitting in the centre, 24 hours day and night through
a regular telephone link with 3300AG Wireless Security
System installed in places to be secured. In case of emergency,
the central monitoring station will receive the emergency
call and coordinate with Police and other rescue parties
and can send guards for help on the place of emergency.
|
| |
| Here
we would like to introduce the working and advantages
of "MondialWatch"; The Central Monitoring Station: |
| |
| MondialWatch: |
| |
| The
basic components of Central Alarm Receiving Systems are
Central Station (MondialWatch) and Security System (3300AG)
at the clients end. Upon the burglar penetration
at the clients end the sensors of the security system
like PIR, Magnetic Sensor, Panic Button, etc. will activate
the system and the system will contact the Central Monitoring
Station by telephone. The central monitoring station upon
the receipt of the panic call will contact the client
on his telephone number and confirm the emergency call.
The callers at the central station are usually disguised
as non-suspicious persons like a family friend calling
to confirm a telephone number etc. The rescue centre after
confirming the call will then contact the local police
station of that area and 15 Emergency Rescue Centre to
stop the burglary in time. Sometimes, the Central Station
also employ private guards to ensure good rescue of their
client. |
| |
| Advantages: |
| |
- It minimizes the chances of a false alarm.
- It maximizes the security and ensures that some
rescue will be arranged immediately.
- It reduces the cost of security staff, as fewer
guards are required at premises.
- Presence of a guard does not ensure the security
of any premises, guards are only humans and they can
make errors, however machines only do the jobs which
are assigned to them.
- The system keeps regular record of all rescue calls
and allows better management of the security staff.
- The central station keeps a regular checks on the
equipment and provide it services to keep it running
without errors.
- Some police staff especially third world countries
donot bother about the rescue calls from autodialers
and they usually ignore the calls. However the operator
of the Central Station can very well pursue the police
to respond.
- Due to numerous incidents of False Alarming, sometimes
even very efficient police staff under estimates the
emergency call and thus their efficiency to respond
to the calls is reduced. In case of
- Central Stations, however, the chances of false
alarming will be reduced.
- The use of private guards to respond to the call
also ensures better results as in some cases the police
officials themselves are involved in crime.

- System receives Arm, Disarm, Panic, Burglar, Low
Battery, Hourly Status Report and many other signals
to completely integrate itself with the Security System
at clients end.
- Keeps complete record of all activities taking place
at the clients end by recording arm, disarm,
tampering, panic, low battery and other signals as
received from the digital dialer.
- Extremely low cost software only solution, which
eliminates the use of high cost telephone integration
hardware as used by many Central Monitoring Stations
around the World.
